PiPA is hosting, in partnership with Strategic Partner, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, an online event for parents and carers who have, or who may be thinking about taking a show to the Edinburgh Fringe.
Date: Tuesday 25th August
Time: 1pm
Booking: via Fringe Central HERE
Scheduling, accommodation and finding childcare are just some of the often insurmountable barriers for parents and carers considering taking work to the Fringe. This collaborative session will explore strategies and solutions so that Edinburgh Fringe Festival can become more accessible in the future for parents and carers.
Our speakers have performed whilst pregnant, toured with children or other dependents, and produced work alongside caring responsibilities. Join Apphia Campbell, Jonny Cotsen and Athena Kugblenu who will share their experience of successfully navigating the Edinburgh Fringe alongside their caring responsibilities.
BSL interpretation and captioning will be provided for this event. The BSL interpreters for this event are Greg Colquhoun and Abbey Stevenson. Live captioning will be provided by Louise Pepper.
