PiPA Midlands Network: Professional Development Opportunities Zoom

UPDATE: Following the recent PiPA Midlands Network Meeting on professional development opportunities that are available in the area, both now and in the future (particularly post COVID-19), we would like to gain further insight into the needs and challenges of Midlands based parents and carers in performing arts, to feed into this future development by asking them to complete this short survey. Further details and notes from the meeting are available here.

PiPA and Nottingham Playhouse are co-hosting a meeting for Midlands based performing arts organisations and practitioners with caring responsibilities. Appearances from other household members (kids, pets etc) very welcome!

  • Tuesday 5th May 2020 - 11:00-12:30

The conversation will look at what existing opportunities and support is available in the Midlands during lockdown, and what further opportunities are needed, particularly for freelance parents and carers.

There will also be a focus on what comes next after lockdown in terms of artist development programmes and initiatives that may be available and what further engagement opportunities might be needed for (freelance) practitioners with caring responsibilities.

As well as representatives from PiPA and Nottingham Playhouse, other Midlands performing arts organisations will be joining the meeting including East Meets West, Derby Theatre, In Good Company and Belgrade Theatre.

To join us for this conversation, please email amplify@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk with the subject heading 'PiPA Midlands Network Zoom' to request a place.
