Lindsey has worked in theatre production for many years and completed a Clore Leadership fellowship in 2021/22. She is passionate about parents being able to remain and thrive in the sector.

PiPA co-CEO and Creative Director Anna Ehnold-Danailov says, We are excited to announce Lindsey Alvis as PiPA's new Business Development & Programme Manager. She brings with her an exceptional understanding and experience of working in the performing arts, as well as the passion to make the sector more inclusive and family friendly. We want to thank Middle Child, who are an inspiring Charter Partner, and we look forward to continuing our work together.

Middle Child Artistic Director and joint CEO Paul Smith says, Everyone at Middle Child is delighted for Lindsey in securing this new role at PiPA. We’ve seen first-hand the passion Lindsey has for creating a fairer, more equitable industry and her impact on this area of Middle Child continues to be felt today. We’re excited to keep working alongside both Lindsey and PiPA as Charter Partners to build a more inclusive future, and can’t wait to witness the positive impact of this brilliant new partnership.

Joining the team at PiPA is an extraordinary opportunity for me to combine my passion for the performing arts with my commitment to ensuring parents and carers can thrive in the sector. This work started for me at Middle Child, and I can’t wait to work with the company as a Charter Partner going forward. As a parent with a young family, working for an organisation with flexibility at its core is essential, and I am excited to be taking on this nationally important and strategic role from my home city of Hull. - Lindsey Alvis
