Parents & Carers in Performing Arts (PiPA) vision is of a performing arts sector which is effectively inclusive of the parent and carer workforce. PiPA is committed to the promotion and implementation of best practice within the performing arts industry to support the needs of the parent and carer workforce. Working closely with over 50 Partner organisations in Dance, Music, Theatre and Opera, PiPA raises awareness, finds creative solutions and shares resources in order to promote best practice.

We are currently recruiting for a Researcher to support the team to develop a strong evidence base of the challenges faced by carers, parents in balancing work and life commitments as well as supporting organisations to investigate family friendly working practices. Working with the Executive Directors and Charter Programme Manager, the Research post will be supported by Professor Almuth McDowall, Head of Department, Professor of Organizational Psychology, Birkbeck University, London. This is a foundational role.
